If you are looking to celebrate the holiday season with great music, then you won’t want to miss out on these festive concerts and events at the DSO.
Saturday, December 9: the DSO presents The Snowman as a part of the Young People’s Family Concert Series in Orchestra Hall including pre-concert holiday activities for kids. Prior to this performance, there will be a Tiny Tots concert four younger children in The Cube featuring Dave Fox and Will Branch.
Wednesday, December 13: Home Alone in Concert returns to Orchestra Hall conducted by Constantine Kitsopoulos. Enjoy one of the most beloved holiday films of all time accompanied by the DSO performing John Williams’s captivating score!
Friday, December 15 – Sunday, December 17: join us for our popular Home for the Holidays performances in Orchestra Hall! Detroit’s favorite holiday musical tradition returns as Jason Seber leads the DSO in a sparkling celebration with carols and classics featuring vocalist Siri Howard.
Wednesday, December 20: celebrate the season with The Music of The Nutcracker! The classic holiday story and Tchaikovsky’s cherished score will enchant Orchestra Hall for one night only with live narration and the splendor of the DSO.
Friday, December 22 and Saturday, December 23: experience Elf, the heartwarming holiday classic film, on a giant screen as every note of John Debney’s wonderful score is played by the DSO in Elf™ in Concert!
Amber is the proud mother to four beautiful children, Damian (27), Rosaleigh (14), Carlyn (11), and Naomi (8). Her family also includes four cats.
She loves being a stay-at-home mom and feels blessed to be able to care for her children full-time and provide them with so many opportunities through Metro Detroit Mommy. In addition to Metro Detroit Mommy, Amber has a passion for hosting karaoke with Malibu Entertainment. She enjoys the metro Detroit nightlife especially, singing, dancing and meeting new people.
