After visiting PuppetART, we decided to visit the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch.
We were promptly greeted by a smiling hostess who guided us to our high top which was a booth on one side and had chairs on the other side. The hostess explained that the Detroit location has a lot of memorabilia featuring Detroit and Michigan artists. I sat next to the Eminem and Madonna exhibits.
After about 30 second or so, our waiter dropped by and got our beverage order and then promptly brought us our drinks. Larry then took our order, a chicken parmesan sandwich with french fries and child’s macaroni and cheese. Our waiter was super friendly, engaging and very tentative to our needs.
We got our food in a very timely manner, however the children’s macaroni and chesse was actually alfredo sauce and noodles. I asked our waiter and he said that this was how they normally served it. It tasted good and we both liked it, but it seems like they should call it what it is. My sandwich was okay.
After lunch we walked around the restaurant a bit and looked at some of the items, then we went out into the atrium to check out the beautiful fountain. The Compuware building is amazing. All in all it was a nice experience.
