Today we had the pleasure of visiting Godlfish Swim School in Rochester. Located just south of downtown Rochester off of Rochester Road (Main Street), the building can be a little difficult to find. South Street does not connect with Rochester Road, so it is best to take Diversion Road to get to South Street.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly employee. After checking in, we proceeded to the changing rooms where we got ready to swim in the pool. The pool room is very warm and the water is PERFECT. We all had such a great time swimming. Goldfish swim school provides the toys, life jackets, noodles, flippers and a ton of other items to compliment their family swim.
After swimming for an hour, we took a warm shower and washed away the pool water with body soap that is provided by the facility, then we went off to the changing rooms to get dressed. The most amazing thing there had to be the bathing suit spinner that gets all of the extra water out of your bathing suit, so it isn’t sopping wet.
Goldfish Swim School has thought of everything, hair dryers, baby swimming diapers, a changing table in each bathroom, toys and books to read for children who aren’t participating in classes, mats on the floor in the changing room and more. It all came together for a wonderful experience.
We attended the family open swim which is currently $5 per person (up to $15 per family), but they also offer classes and birthday parties. You can find their current rates on their website.
I received free admission to open swim in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own. Your experience may differ.
