Bioblitz @ The Miller Library in Warren

Event Type: All Ages
Age Group(s): All Ages
Date: 9/8/2018
Start Time: 9:00 AM
End Time: 12:00 PM

As part of our Backyard Wilderness grant, the Miller Library will be hosting a Bioblitz!

A bioblitz is a fun, intensive, short search for biodiversity in a specific location. We’ll look for birds, mammals, wildflowers, reptiles, butterflies, beetles, mushrooms—all the nature we can find around the walking path at the Warren Community Center! People of all ages and skill levels are welcome. You bring your curiosity, a pencil, and tons of enthusiasm. You can document your observations using your smart phone with the iNaturalist app*.
Together let’s make some science!
The event is free but pre-registration will allow us to be sure we’ll have enough materials.
*iNaturalist is a nature observation and identification application available for Android and iPhone.
