Celebration of Light at Troy Historic Village – Indoor & Outdoor Exhibit

Visitor’s guide and photos for the Celebration of Light at the Troy Historic Village. an indoor and outdoor exhibit that explores traditions and decorations of the season.

The Troy Historic Village is open to the public year-round and offers guests self-guided tours. They also offer a variety of seasonal exhibits throughout the year. At the present time, they are hosting the Celebration of Light exhibit. The indoor/outdoor exhibit explores a variety of traditions and decorations centered around the winter season. Guests will see the beautiful displays and listen to stories that will brighten up the shortest days of the year.

Celebration of Light Visitor’s Information

The Celebration of Light runs every weekend from now until January 8th, 2021. Guests can stroll through the exhibit with their timed ticket. The evening hours are from 4 pm until 8 pm every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The Troy Historic Village will host special holiday hours of 10 am until 8 pm on December 21, 22, 23, as well as on the 28th, 29th, and 30th. The lights are turned on at dusk.

Tickets are free for members. General admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children (ages 6-12) as well as seniors (age 60+).

The Troy Historic Village is located at 60 W Wattles Rd in Troy. The property is located on the northwest corner of West Wattles Road and Livernois Road. While the village is within a mile of I-75, visitors should use either the Big Beaver or the Crooks exit. (Be sure to check current construction on I-75, as some exits are not open.)

Parking- Paved parking is located on both sides of the main building, entrance is off of Wattles Road.  Additional parking is also available on the north side of the village on Lange Street.
