Look no further than Holiday Markets at Eastern Market in Detroit to find great gifts for family and friends as well as encourage giving to local nonprofit organizations! There are special markets for the holiday season, and you can even pick out your yuletide tree!
The Tuesday market dates are primarily focused on food vendors and are a perfect place to find ingredients for your holiday meals! The Sunday & Thursday dates feature plenty of Michigan-made gift options including clothing, art, jewelry, beauty products, and more.

- Saturday, December 24 – Last-Minute Gifts & Food Shopping
The Tuesday market date focuses primarily on food vendors and is a perfect place to find everything for your holiday meals. The Sunday dates feature plenty of Michigan-made gift options including clothing, art, jewelry, beauty products, and more.
On Christmas Eve, the Saturday Market will be open from 6 AM – 1 PM for last-minute shopping for gifts and holiday meal ingredients. The market will be closed New Year’s Eve on Saturday, December 31. We’ll have Christmas tree vendors returning to our parking lot outside of Shed 5 seven days a week starting around Thanksgiving.
There are no tickets for this event. It is free and open to all ages.

The Holiday Market vendors are chosen from an existing pool of vendors and the next opportunity to apply to vend at Eastern Market will be in Spring 2023 at http://easternmarket.org.
