Dino Stroll is Returning for one Weekend

We are so excited to share that DINO STROLL and DINOS AFTER DARK is returning to Canterbury Village, September 16-19, 2021. Returning “home” for one weekend only,  the popular DINO STROLL and DINOS AFTER DARK will be in Lake Orion on September 16-19. This realistic outdoor walk-thru event lets you get up close to life-like and life-size dinosaurs, some standing over 25 feet tall and spanning over 60 feet long.  Canterbury Village will be transformed into the Mesozoic Era with prehistoric dinosaurs from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods, throughout!

More about Dino Stroll at Canterbury Village

This is a realistic tour back into history with animatronic dinosaurs that are created with moving heads, necks, tails, wings, eyes blinking, mouths that open and close, breathing movements, synchronized sounds and many more exquisite details that bring them to life.  DINO STROLL is an interactive event allowing guests to walk through this memorable outdoor experience. While guests stroll, they can get up close to 75 dinosaurs within exhibits throughout, ranging from babies to some life-like and life-size dinosaurs, and even encounter a T-Rex, Velociraptors and Stegosaurus, just to name a few.  This must-see event will provide an opportunity to see and feel what it was like when the world’s largest creatures roamed the earth!

DINO STROLL will take place Thursday-Sunday with timed entry every 30 minutes starting at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, 9/16 and Friday, 9/17, and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, 9/18 and Sunday 9/19. The last entry will be 8:00 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. For those that would like to experience how dinosaurs lived at night, DINOS AFTER DARK, will be taking place Friday, 9/17 and Saturday, 9/18 with timed entry every 15 minutes starting at 9:15 p.m. The last entry for DINOS AFTER DARK will be 10:15 p.m.  During DINOS AFTER DARK guests walk through the dark haze and experience dinosaurs that are illuminated to show their massive size and features while providing a once-in-a-lifetime feeling of what happens when the sun goes down.  Lasers and lights will be showcased throughout the stroll, along with sights and sounds that are so realistic of what it was like when the world’s largest creatures roamed the earth, at NIGHT!

Canterbury Village Events will be having a charitable giving initiative during both DINO STROLL and DINOS AFTER DARK, to help to support those struggling within the community.  They will be collecting school supplies and essential school items at both events.  Attendees are encouraged to bring items to the event and place them in the collection bins located at the front entrance.  All collected items will then be donated to help children in the surrounding areas who are lacking the supplies needed for their upcoming school year, due to financial hardships.
