So, in case it doesn’t go without saying, this is a space for the 21+ crowd. The decor reminds me of a guys basement..um I mean man cave, complete with folding chairs, dropped ceiling, wet bar, collectible knickknacks and images of naked women. That being said, it has it’s charm.
We visited on a Saturday night, at about 7:45 pm. There was plenty of seating and it was comfortable in temperature and noise level, although I have heard it gets loud with the live entertainment.
Cellarmen’s serves cider, mead and microbrews, all made in house with ingredients sourced from Michigan. They do not serve food, but you are welcome to bring your own, or hit up the food truck parked outside.
So, Hubs and I tried the Moscow Miel (his) and Pineapple Cider (hers). I really enjoyed both drinks, but not together, lol. The ginger in the Miel was incredible, but I prefer the sweetness of the Pineapple Cider which was perfectly smooth and tasty.
The bartender was very attentive and polite. She let us try a sample of our choices, which is fantastic. I look forward to visiting again. I highly recommend Cellarmen’s for your next night out.
