Nature’s Playhouse Yoga & Play

I have been attending Yoga & Play for a couple of weeks now at Nature’s Playhouse in Ferndale.  I really never thought I would do Yoga EVER, just like running. *Shrug* But here I am doing both.

The setting at Nature’s Playhouse is calm and nurturing for both the child and parent.  Parents of children from birth to age four are invited to practice yoga while their children play or join them.  I love how my children will play for a bit, but both with come around and give me hug, tell me something or help me stretch during the session.  They both enjoy our weekly sessions.

The Yoga class is open to all ability levels.  The teacher adapts each class to the skill levels present, and each pose can be done different based on your skill.  I am simply amazed by what I can and cannot do and I look forward to learning how to balance and stretch to build a stronger core.

Classes are held on Mondays at 10am, Fridays at 9am and Saturday classes start on June 21st (9am).
Yoga equipment is available for use or you can bring your own.

You can sign up for classes here.

I have received free Yoga & Play sessions in exchange for this promotional post.  All opinions are my own, your experience may differ.
