Best Sledding Hills in Metro Detroit

This is a guest blog post from Courtney Howell of Motherhood & Main, a place where moms can come together and connect as they journey through the various crossroads of motherhood.

After being spoiled by record-breaking temperatures in the mid-fifties for the first-half of winter, we finally got our first wave of snow. But that doesn’t mean the fun has to end!

Call me crazy, but winter was always my favorite season as a kid. I mean come on, snow days, ice-skating and sledding, what’s not to love? Now that my daughter is old enough to enjoy all fun that comes along with playing in the snow, I can’t wait to show her some of my favorite pastimes.

The best part is we don’t have to travel far to find some of Michigan’s best sledding hills because many of them are located right here in metro Detroit.
